When we took on the farm, we knew that chickens would play a vital role in our adventure. Caring for these easy-going animals has become a joy for our kids from sharing dinner leftovers to tossing out cracked corn and collecting a stunning variety of eggs. Chickens are truly indispensable to our experience. We also appreciate the rich wildlife in our area, but we were determined to keep our flock safe. That’s why we designed our first Roost n Run Chicken tractor, which allows them to enjoy the freedom of free-ranging while significantly reducing the risk of wildlife encounters. This innovative solution not only revitalizes our poor soil with their manure but also helps us minimize waste effectively.

It all began with three chickens, and we were instantly hooked. We proudly have over five different breeds, our beloved favorite, Mini Boots.
During our search for our first coop, we quickly recognized that, with two little ones under two, we simply didn't have the time to build the ideal coop run we envisioned. The market lacked affordable and realistic options that could withstand the tough Nova Scotia weather. So, we matters into our own hands and started building our own coop, knowing there were others out who needed the same solution.

Need delivery? We've got you covered! We can install on-site or deliver directly to you for an additional fee. Our small coop and run are expertly designed to fit perfectly in the back of a standard truck bed for easy loading and unloading, and we also provide free farm pickup.
